ArmorLiner, a 2-component, 1-to-1, solid, fast-setting, liquid applied polyurea lining system for metals, concrete, fiberglass, and wood surfaces.

MIXING

The volume mix ratio of ArmorLiner is 1 part Side A to 1 Part Side B. Mix Side B Polyol Resin thoroughly with air-driven power tools until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

PROCESS OF APPLICATION:

Pigmentation: ArmorLiner Side A Polyol Resin demands that 100 grams of ArmorThane pigment are added to each US gallon.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Surface preparation is a key factor in polyurea performance and adhesion. Poor surface preparation is the main reason for most surface coatings’ failures. The structural strength of the substrate is what polyurea coatings depend on. All surfaces must be free from dirt, oil, and grease, as well as rust, corrosion, and any other contaminants. It is important to consider whether substrates that have been coated previously may absorb oil, grease, rust, corrosion, and other contaminants. ArmorThane is open to the possibility of unique substrates in different projects. Before any project is started, it is recommended to conduct an adhesion test. Refer to the ArmorThane Operations Manual for details on the preparation of the substrate.

APPLICATION

ArmorLiner can be spray applied using the ArmorThane Highline plural-component spray system.

Before applying, both Side A and Side B ArmorLiner materials must be preconditioned at 80-90oF (27-32) before use.

ArmorLiner materials should not be sprayed at temperatures higher than 150°F (66°C). At all times, it is important to maintain the right pressure and temperature. ArmorLiner should always be applied in multidirectional, smooth passes to ensure uniform thickness and appearance.

PACKAGING

ArmorLiner is available in a 100-gallon drum kit. There are 50 gallons for Side A ISO and 50 for Side B Polyol Resin.

SAFETY & HANDLING
